Some responsibilities as a landlord are to make your property
habitable. It means any known problems must be fixed before you
allow a tenant to take occupancy.
Do a walkthrough of the unit to determine its condition and locate
what repairs or maintenance need to be done. Here are some of the
areas you need to consider.
1. Are the entire fixture fix? Check the plumbing
such as the faucets, showers, tubs, and toilets. Make sure there
are no leaks.
2. Are the floors fix and clean? Check the carpets
or wood floors for stains. One of my wood floors are un attached to
the main floor. I went to home depot for the glue and it fix
it.
3. Are closets fix and clean? Check the doors.
