Buy itThe author of the rags-to-riches real estate bestseller Nothing Down for the '90s presents advice drawn from 20 years of writing and promoting get-rich books through seminars, infomercials, and home-study courses. In Multiple Streams of Income, Robert G. Allen shows you how to create income with little or no investment. Says Allen: "Today, very few families can survive on less than two streams of income. In the volatile future, you will need a portfolio of income streams--not one or two--but many streams from completely different and diversified sources."
Beginning with advice on controlling spending and increasing savings, Allen hits his stride in chapters on stock market and real estate investing. He draws on the investment advice of others, including Peter Lynch, and even suggests that you invest in Berkshire Hathaway and let Warren Buffett manage your money. Allen also shares his real estate strategies for finding motivated sellers, securing creative financing, and buying foreclosures and tax liens. Additional chapters cover multilevel-network marketing, information and product licensing, and marketing on the Internet. Throughout are checklists, work sheets, and testimonials, as well as pointers to more articles and materials on the author's Web site. It's useful to have so much information so concisely and well explained, and many who read this book will find it hard to resist implementing one, if not several, of Allen's recommended income strategies. --Scott Harrison

I loved the book, every chapter.
I have to say I'm not good at finances and this book gives you a lot of ideas of how to make money.
Most of them on the real state can't be done here on Canada but I liked the spirit.
The author teachs you about some basics on stocks, marketing, real estate and good tips/habits to keep income flowing to you and to save it.
A worth of your time reading.
Thanks!

Clear, concise, and right to the point! Robert G. Allen is a man to follow and read what he speaks in the written word. I have enjoyed all of his books.

This is Bob's best work to-date. It summarizes all the best ways to add residual streams of income to your portfolio, and teaches you to rely on yourself for unlimited income, rather than someone else's paycheck. Learn to leverage a few small efforts that will continue to pay you for years to come, instead of worrying about how many hours or jobs you need to work to increase your income.
As one of Bob's Protégé students I live and breathe the concepts presented in Multiple Streams of Income, and anybody who writes a negative review has obviously not put in the effort required to get any one of these streams working for them 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, in either a good economy or bad economy - it doesn't matter. In fact, in a bad economy many of these concepts will work even better...
Chapter 12 on The Ultimate Money Machine: Network Marketing with top company Usana was a real eye opener for me - and I am now a member of Bob's Winner's Circle Team earning a residual weekly paycheck! Check out my profile for more information if you're serious about building this stream of income as a member of Bob's team. It's easy, and a serious no-brainer...team up with us and have Bob help you build a recession-proof business that generates cash every week with very little part-time effort...duh!
This is powerful stuff - learn from the master, take it to heart and give it your honest effort and you will experience true abundance.
Thank You Bob!

This book is even a good starter book as Allen starts by giving some of the best applicable advice for everyday personal finances and saving. Then Allen explains the 8 or so different types of income in a straight forward yet entertaining way. After reading any one of the sections, you have the knowledge to put the ideas into practice right away.
If you need a low fluff introduction to different types of investments that produce income, this is it!

I know this book has several editions but the book (in general) seems to offer a variety of practical ideas for generating multiple streams of income. I plan to try one in the next few weeks.
